Josh Betts

Josh is the CEO and founding partner of Aletheian Wealth Advisors.  Josh focuses on guiding successful families, with financial complexity, to create lasting legacies.  Aletheian means "Truth and Transparency" and Josh is passionate about delivering the best results and experience to clients.  He takes great joy in helping families achieve their personal values,  mission,  and vision;  maximizing what is available to them,  their heirs,  and charity at the expense of taxation.

He has spent his career as a leader and innovator in intelligent investing, having personally managed over $11 billion of client assets in tax smart vehicles.  Bringing this level of expertise directly to Aletheian families takes away their stress,  replacing it with clarity, confidence,  and peace of mind.  He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations.

Josh is a believer in the saying that “who you do life with is everything,”  and knows how critical it is to trust the right people.  One of the gifts of his life is leading, serving, and learning from those who make up the Aletheian family;  clients,  colleagues,  and talented professionals who partner collaboratively from other disciplines.

Josh is blessed to be able to give back to the community.  He enjoys serving on boards at Fred Hutch,  Bellevue Christian School,  and his church.  He also loves mentoring young people,  coaching youth basketball,  seeing friends at the Washington Athletic Club,  and golfing the Club at Snoqualmie Ridge as much as he can.  Josh and his wife Kelly have three children,  Olivia, Emily and Andrew.
